Ever wanted to send a cool picture you’ve snapped with your iPhone as a text message? Well, too bad, MMS is currently not supported with the iPhone. Hold on though–there is a workaround. It involves emailing the picture with your iPhone to your target’s phone number. Here’s how.
Believe it or not, every cell phone number has an email address. To get that address, check the list of email addresses below for various wireless companies. Or, have a friend send you an MMS to your email address. Access the email message on your iPhone and check out the “From:” field. That is your friend’s cell phone’s email address. Emailing a picture to that address will show up as an MMS on their phone. You can add that address to your contacts. Voila, you can now send MMS messages to your friend’s phone.
Just make sure your friend’s phone can receive MMS messages (ie, you can’t email the MMS to an iPhone).

Sweet. Nice find!
I tried this and it doesn’t work
I thought of this way “around” the MMS pic drama, and none of my friends received the pic texts. Massive fail.
I tried Verizon, got a couple error messages sent back over email after a couple hours.
this only seems to work for people who have att, otherwise no dice…
What is the address for Telus?
YAY! Thank you, it worked. I have ATT and sent it to an ATT phone, just so ya’ll will know.
worked. sent picture to Cricket mobile user with:
phonenumber@mms.mycricket.com
Does not work sending to a Verizon wireless phone, any other ideas? Alot of money not to have this feature avalible
I have AT&T and was able to email a pic to a Verizon customer.
Anyone know what it is for telus????
I sent to another AT&T and it worked…only problem…reply comes back as email. Why won’t Apple just fix this mess! I have told many people about this “downfall” of the iPhone and they are deciding to go with other devices as a result.
My question is, why the heck do we have to do this? It’s BS
I sent a pic from my iPhone to a Verizon phone - Worked great!!

Well I just tried this sending to a Verizon phone and the recipient saw this on his phone:

From iPhone to verizon using vtext.com does not work. I got the same results as Lainey (above). From iPhone to verizon using vzwpix.com DOES work.
iPhones stink. I wish I had done my homework before I bought one. Great gaming phone but very poor in texting (if u can even call it that) and email support.

Does anyone know how to send pics to a tracfone ? I guess the address is what I’m in need of…
I’ve sent pics to cricket phones, so this does work, take advantage of it until the new software comes out in June… Then the I-phone will have pic messaging !!!
I tried all three links to att and was unable to send pic to att phone. State the ‘email address’ was rejected.
Was able to send pic message from iphone to verizon customer who has a moto Q9. Recipient had to attempt dowload of pic 3 times before it opened, but was successful.
It does work with Verizon. Some carriers, Verizon being one of them, will not allow the user to receive pics over 100mb. I have had to send pics to my pc, reduce the size then send them along to a Verizon phone. Hope this helps.
Nice website. I worked for hours trying to figure out how to send a picture from my iphone!! Thanks for the help. Kathy
No luck…I’m disappointed, we need an app or a fix!
How to Send an MMS to a digicelm phone in guyana&Barbados
I tried to both T-Mobile addresses above from my iPhone and neither worked. I also tried texting another iPhone user using the xxxxxxxxxx@txt.att.net and everything except the picture came out. This sucks!
I sent an MMS from my iPhone to another AT&T phone and it worked great.
Verizon email works - Just tried it with the new iPhone g3s. I sent a pic to a verizon customer using these instructions and it worked perfectly.
