Its main function is to show how to form guitar chords, and not just the basic ones, but any whacky chord there is. And there are several other features. It can show multiple positions for each chord up and down the fretboard, play each individual string as if it were being strummed, play the entire chord, and show fingerings for left- and right-handed guitarists. It’s a well-designed tool, and especially useful for those wanting to know how to form the chords with the weird numbers and augmentation sometimes found in guitar tablature.
To form/view a chord, simply tap the corresponding items on the screen. For example, tap G and tap maj for a G major chord. Tap Notes to play each string, or tap Chord to hear it strummed. Tap Prev or Next to move the chord up and down the fretboard. The app supports just about any chord you can think of, and it works very quickly.
