Normally $6.99, Gameloft has dropped the price on the iPhone game Driver (iTunes link) to $4.99. Driver is a classic racing game that follows Tanner, the main character who attempts to infiltrate a national crime ring. The game includes 40 missions, all of which take place in Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, or New York. Gameloft boasts about the game’s “realistic urban environments” and “unbelievable stunts with flinging turns, stomach-dropping jumps and impressive crashes.” Driver also includes three radio stations that primarily play 70s music.

Driver gets pretty good reviews on iTunes, where reviewers say it’s fun to play and has great graphics. However, a number of users complain about the overzealous police (I guess they don’t let you do anything fun) and hard-to-control steering.

Driver is a $4.99 download at the iTunes store.
