Thanks for the detailed review. I’ve always wondered about these Barcode scanners for the iPhone, and how they would work here for products in Australia, so after reading your review i downloaded Shopsavvy.

Here’s what i found:

Packet of doritos – not found.

Fairly Well Known marketing book – Found.

Zone 1 DVD – Popular Movie – Found.

Old but favourite CD – Found.

Not bad. In doing this, i found a good use for the application – storing an inventory of everything you own for insurance or tracking purposes…

The only problem i found was that it was a bit slow picking up the barcode. But what can you expect for free?
