Maxbong Sausages Make for a Cheap Touchscreen Stylus in Korea

Maxbong sausages are all the rage with Korean iPhone owners these days. According to Korean news outlets, they are flying off the shelves. Turns out the tiny sausages make great stand-ins for human fingers. After you’re done smearing their grease all over the screen, you can eat the sausage and lick the screen.

Maxbong sausages are made by Korean food company CJ Corporation.

iNekkid iPhone App Challenges Nude It for Best Fake App

Looks like the steering needs to be tweaked a little.

George Costanza Creates an iPhone App, iToilet, in New Seinfeld Footage

The cast of Seinfeld has returned to their original set to reprise the roles of Seinfeld, Kramer, George, and Eliane for the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm. The footage is from what is (fictionally) a new, modern “episode” of Seinfeld that Curb character Larry David is watching at home. In one particular scene, Seinfeld and friends discuss how George Constanza (played by Jason Alexander) made “more than a couple” of million dollars by creating an iPhone app called iToilet. Then they all lament on how George lost all his millions from his 70% developer’s App Store cut after giving it all to Madoff to invest:

Kramer: So what’s the big deal? You lost a couple of million.

George: It was more than a couple.

Seinfeld: It was more than a great idea. An iPhone application that leads you via your GPS to the nearest acceptable toilet wherever you are in the world.

George: The iToilet! And I thought of it.

Kramer: That was one killer app.

Seinfeld: Why did you have to give it all to that crook Madoff?

George (whining): I don’t know.

So, does Costanza have a good idea for an app? Actually, there are already some similar apps in the App Store, although I doubt they’ve made anyone a multimillionaire.

iToilet Seinfeld App

There is also an app called iToilet (iTunes link), although it ‘s not as useful as George’s, as it merely makes rude bathroom noises.

CSI Show Features iPhone Flashlight App, Journey Ringtone

A recent episode of CSI gave a brief cameo to the iPhone. When a character hesitates at climbing into a dark airduct, he is talked into it when another character produces an iPhone with a flashlight app emiting a bright white light. The character says, “There’s an app for that.” Ho ho, great writing! A minute later inside the airduct, the iPhone rings and startles the guy, playing a ringtone featuring “Any Way You Want It” by Journey. Ho ho, funny stuff! See video below.
