The iControlPad Project has been teasing iPhone gamers for months with videos of a prototype hardware gamepad for the iPhone. They’ve launched an updated version that moves the controls from the side of the iPhone to below it.

The iControlPad is not available for purchase and only works with jailbroken phones.

With the introduction of iPhone 3.0 and hardware accessory support, it’s possible the iControlPad could be a legitimate product. Assuming Apple allows it.
