iPhone Home Button Not Working

I've had my iPhone 4 for about 1.5 years now and have noticed that the home button doesn't work as well as it used to. Sometimes I have to press it multiple times to get it to work. I think it's a software problem, as it used to be a really bad right before I updated to iOS 5. I almost took it into the Apple Store, then strangely, iOS 5 seemed to mostly solve it. Wonder if anyone else has seen had this issue?

If the problem gets really bad, always take it to the Apple Store.
